Being an early bird and in need of coffee, I headed to Jo’s Coffee, just across the street from where we were staying. While getting my coffee, I took the opportunity to capture photos of a deserted South Congress Avenue.

When the rest of the family woke up, we walked to Cafe No Se on South Congress Avenue. Since it wasn’t crowded, I had the chance to take some additional photos.

We stopped by Allen Boots again, where I spotted a blazer I know my dad would have absolutely bought for himself.

After that, we headed to KG BBQ, located in the parking lot of Oddwood Brewery. My aunt and cousin also surprised my brother with a birthday cake since his birthday is coming up.

After indulging in BBQ, we needed to walk it off, so we headed to Mueller Lake Park. While there, we came across the HONKTX event and enjoyed watching some brass bands perform.

From Mueller park, we met up with the rest of the family at Austin Beerworks. After spending a few hours there, we headed Desano for dinner. Once we finished eating, most of parted ways :(. The last thing on our list was watching the bats fly out from under the South Congress Avenue Bridge.
